$400 Detroit/Houston under 8.5 Lots of public money flying on the over here, Tigers bats are red-hot, and except for his last start Verlander has been struggling. High scoring runs like the Tigers are on instinctively make me expect a lower scoring effort here, and I think Verlander's going to miss a lot of bats tonight. Houston had been hot recently till their bats collectively cooled off. This looks like a 4-3, 4-2 type game to me. $WINNER$ (+400)

Best of Luck on the total tonight. Do you know if the roof in Minute Maid is open or shut tonight? If it is open there is suppose to be a 10-15 mph wind blowing out to center.

The wind is relevant in some venues, not in Houston so much because of the height of the wall behind the leftfielder. Wind is also the most overused handicapping tool for totals, in most cases the wind is factored into any total that Vegas posts. Unless the wind is steadily over 10 mph it really is never much of a factor. I see 8-13 on scoresandodds
