$400 Houston +1 Last game on the NBA board tonight and it is on ESPN, so there will be lots of action on this one. "Public" chasers will be all over the Cavs off a loss, it just sounds like a reasonable argument. Good teams always bounce back after a loss don't they? Obviously the Cavs don't cause they have a 0-5 ATS record after their last 5 losses. Going back a little further Cleveland is 2-9-1 ATS as a favorite off a loss as a dog. Analyzing that last "trend" reveals a logical argument. Last game they were a do, so obviously the Cavs were playing an "elite" NBA opponent. LeBron and his boys probably played very hard against that "elite" team so they may not exactly have a lot left in the tank after losing a game they tried so hard in. Instead of a bounce back game after their loss to the Spurs, more likely this is a "let-down" spot, it certainly is based off that last trend. Houston is on a winning streak, so they are playing well. They also happen to be the best home dog in the NBA, 9-1 ATS their last 10 times getting points at home.
