Fading the streak of Mike Zimmer and his undefeated Preseason run, but to my advantage he does have on ATS loss during this time as a favorite.
Over the years of keeping track of Preseason games I've found that teams who had won 6 or less regular season games tend to do well ATS in the preseason when they're on the road and facing teams that had a modest win total of 7 to 9 games the last season going 55-33 ATS. The reason behind this is these bad teams and more so their coaches want to set the right tone for the upcoming season so beating a decent team on the road helps set that mindset. While the home team is sometimes filling in some gaps they fell they need to improve on to get that extra edge that just kept them out of the playoffs the prior year. So winning in August isn't always quite as important.
Another thing I've notice over the years in Preseason games in Week1 Underdogs seem to do quite well going 129-103 for 55% which is a good mark.
So I'll grab the FG and hook here as I expect Lovie to play a little tougher than he did last year in August.

I like this play quite a bit. The Eagles offense was able to make Sanchez a decent QB.
My gut feeling is they didn't bring Tebow in for the hell of it. So if he gets in I expect them to let him do more than hand off.
Barkley who will probably come in after Sanchez might have trade value. So they will probably have him throwing a lot.
Good luck

Thanks TG, and while Tebow didn't impress he did out together a 15 yard drive for a TD which FRG putting the game over.
