  • Hmmm...MNF

Buffalo has not had a home game on MNF in Dec., in the history of the d'b (since '89):

    http://gimmethedog.com/NFL?q=team%3D...d%20month%3D12

That includes those bad-ass Bills in the early '90's, when they went to 4 straight SB's.

Weather's gonna' be cold as sh*t & windy as f*ck:

    That ain't no joke. 29-degrees blowing 20 mph...all night long...ouch.

Please run a query to double check for Div 1st half this year, it went all UNDER. Thanks

        pgcluu,

Can't...don't have the 1st-half totals on all div home games. And don't have time even if I did.

Okay...I'm gonna' make a case for both teams here...Pats & Bills...

I'm already in on the Bills -2'...and stickin' to my guns, but I think I f*cked-up...here's why. I've been looking at this game almost every which way possible, the great equalizer is the weather. And it's gonna' be a bitch...

One key stat I never even considered until awhile ago is this: The Patriots kicked 5 FG's last week...rare...but then I pulled this up...

Div road dogs after week 8, off any game they kicked at least 5 FG's:

            6-2 s/u
            &
            8-0 ats

...if they are dogs of less than +6.5:

            http://gimmethedog.com/NFL?q=p%3AFG%...d%20line%3C6.5

            6-0 s/u & ats...play on NE+ & NE m/l

              Now, for Buffalo...

AFC div road dogs off a s/u win in which their opp had more than 200+ rush yards:

              0-10 s/u & 2-8 ats & 1-8-1 o/u

...if they have at least as many wins as opp:

              http://gimmethedog.com/NFL?q=AD%20an...%3E%3Do%3Awins

              0-5 s/u & ats...against NE+...on Buff-

the Patriots lined between -3 to +4 on the road after week 3 vs opp that allowed less than 10pts last game:

              http://gimmethedog.com/NFL?q=team%3D...%3Apoints%3C10

              0-10 s/u & ats...play against NE+...on Buff-

The Bills got rocked by Indy in their prev home game 2 weeks ago, allowing over 200 rush yards...

Div home teams off a s/u loss at home as a fav two games ago, allowed more than 200+ rush yards:

              18-8 s/u & ats...any line

              ...AFC teams before week 17:

              http://gimmethedog.com/NFL?q=DIV%20a...nd%20week%3C17

              10-0 s/u...any line...dog or fav
              &
              10-0 ats
              &
              8-1-1 o/u

...with a total of more than 38.5:

              8-0 s/u & ats...any line...8-0 o/u

              Bills- & Over

                  ...line just dropped to -2...uh-oh

                  gambrinus,

Wouldn't be surprised at all if the final score is 3-0 either way.

One final thought & this is rare...

AFC East Div home favs on MNF off a Thursday game:

                  http://gimmethedog.com/NFL?q=divisio...day%3DThursday

                  2-0 s/u & ats
                  &
                  1-1 o/u

                  45-3...-3' & 44'
                  &

I know the Pats gave up 270 yds on the ground last week. But they only allowed one rushing TD. They lead the league in defending the rushing TD having allowed only 6 rushing TDs all year. Bend but don't break.

With the winds being what they are I love the Under.

                          Good luck tonight, X.

If they make it to the red zone, they can use short passes.
