    Super Bowl Fast Facts...
With the final game of the 2022 NFL season set to kickoff tonight, here area few last minute facts that you may or may not know. If even one of them pans out in you favor they will be worth the read.

    THAT WAS THEN...

    • Phil Simms was the first Super Bowl MVP to say he was "going to Disney World." He did so after completing 22 of 25 passes in Super Bowl XXI, setting the record for highest completion percentage.

    • Gale Gilbert, a backup QB, has the record for consecutive Super Bowl appearances. He made five straight with the Bills, from 1991-1994, and the Chargers, in 1995. His teams lost every single one of them.

    • Ben Roethlisberger had a 22.6 passer rating in his first Super Bowl win. That's the lowest rating for a winning quarterback in history.

    THIS IS NOW...

    • The Bengals were the only NFL team besides the Buccaneers to have three different players top 800 receiving yards: Chase (1,455), Tee Higgins (1,091) and Tyler Boyd (828) topped their pass-catching corps

    • Joe Burrow's last playoff loss was in high school in 2014 when Toledo Central Catholic beat Athens, 56-52, in the state championship game.

This could be the hottest Super Bowl ever, with temperatures expected to reach the mid-to-high 80s - maybe even hit 90 — in the L.A. area on Sunday, and SoFi Stadium doesn't have air conditioning!

    Madden Super Bowl Simulator
Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow can light up one more victory cigar - at least if the virtual prediction of Sunday's Super Bowl ends up coming true.

In the official Madden '22 simulation of Super Bowl LVI, the Bengals knock off the L.A. Rams, 24-21, at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles and it is Burrow, the second-year quarterback out of LSU, who becomes the game's Most Valuable Player.

In the simulation, Burrow completed 32 of 44 passes for 317 yards, two touchdowns and an interception, and led Cincinnati down the field to set up kicker Evan McPherson for a 49-yard game-winning field goal as time expired to give Cincinnati the win.

Who are we to argue? It's almost verbatim of how the wild and wool 2022 playoffs played out. ow the youngest team to ever play in a Super Bowl (25.8 average age).
