  • Stinkers Week 5

    Hope you guys are killing them. The last couple of weeks I feel like a worm squirming around in a divot trying to get onto the green grass.

    ///

    Wk 1 /// 6-4 +191
    Wk 2 /// 9-3 +599
    Wk 3 /// 5-6 -141
    Wk 4 /// 5-6 -129

    ///

    Thursday:

    Ind / Den Under 42 -106

    Neither team runs well. Both QBs take sacks. Their combined turnover differential is -6. Don't see where the scoring comes from

          Nice call, Jim. Seems so obvious in hindsight. Way to start the week!

            Thanks guys. When I do my research and see what I saw Thursday I just let that stuff dictate my play. I don't care who likes it or not. Sometimes it pays off.

            ///

            Add Sunday:

            Starting here. Better record Divisional favorites in Week 5:

            Minnesota -7' -109 (vs Chi)
            Jacksonville -7 -101 (vs Hou)
            Miami -3' +104 (@ NYJ)

            Buffalo -14 -107 (vs Pit)
            The Bills were 3-0-2 ATS as DD HF last year. They are gonna want to get that mojo back after losing in Miami and barely squeaking out a win in Balty last week. What better punching bag than the inept (without TJ Watt) Steelers with a rookie QB making his first NFL start.

            Washington +1 -110 (vs Tenny)
            Rypien holds the ball too long. Snyder is the worst NFL owner. And Commanders suck Redskin dick.

            Carolina +6 -101 (vs SFo)
            After beating the World Champ and Divisional rival Rams last week, you think the Niners are gonna be worried about a cross country to Carolina? They'll be sleep walking.

            Atlanta +10' -116 (@ TBy)
            Give this one to Giselle's lawyers going public and Atlanta's ability to ground pound the ball, even with two rookie backups.

            New England -3 -105 (vs Det)
            Detroit is having fun putting up boatloads of points. Bellichick has his back against the wall. Did you see how pissed he was on the sidelines last week? Pats will be focused bigtime.

            Cleveland +1 +103 (vs LA Chargers)
            The Chargers were all out to beat Houston last week. They are broken. The Dog Pound will be screaming for blood on the field.

            Will be back with more later.

                  Thanks Chamby and Rider. Hope you guys are smacking them around.

                  ///

                  Already wrote up Carolina above.

                  Add:

                  LA Rams -5' +102 (vs Dal)
                  Will the World Champs go to 2-3 after Week 5? They will claw and scratch to prevent that from happening.

                  Philly -5' +101 (@ Azo)
                  Can the only undefeated team in the NFL keep their record unblemished? Sure. Why not? The Desert Birds are 0-7 SU and 0-7 ATS in their last seven home games. Cheesesteak Birds smush Desert Birds.

                    The Bengals blasted the Ravens twice last year. Again

                        Get your Laughlin money back right here! Step right up. Best bets in the bidness! (cept when we lose).

                        Last one.

                        Monday night.

                        Kansas City -7' +112 (vs LVR)
                        Kansas City knows what they need to do in Division games. Like when they beat these Lost Wages Fakers 41-14 and 48-9 last season.
